Mobile Modules

Mobile Modules: Travelling Kitchen

Similar to the Community Kitchen and Garden found inside Melbourne Central, the Traveling Kitchen offers a space with multiple programmes. The modules allow the visiter(s) to customise the space by joining the ends painted white.

As there are countless possibilities to configure the modules, the traveling kitchen can be set up nearly anywhere. Visitors to the kitchen can use the seats to relax after shopping, workers on their break can use the prep benches to make lunch and the public is welcome to the various vegetables growing in the planter boxes. One prep bench is set up with gas cookers, while the other is equip with a sink and a manual pump tap connected to a small water tank below.
